Royce "Rocky" Lane is the Founder and President of Pro Law International Ltd.
He comes from a Law Enforcement background and then became a Prosecutor for the New Zealand Police Force.
After leaving the Police Force he moved to the Philippines. As Chief Counsel for a multinational company, he ran a team of 18 lawyers operating internationally.
He gave all this up to follow his other passion - Pool. He was on the Professional Pool circuit for many years, and holds two world records.
He returned to Law having moved to Macau and opened his own Practice. In 2024 he "semi-retired" and moved back to his homeland - New Zealand. He is locally actively engaged.
He is still active at Pro Law International and also writes articles to further and broaden the access of legal opinion for Lawyers and the general public to benefit from.

Rocky Lane
When he lived in Asia pronouncing "Royce" was very difficult especially for the native Chinese speakers. As a result his name morphed in "Rocky" - which then became is Professional Pool name, and what he is called today.
Wilfred Royce Lane
Wilfred was his Grandfather's name and as soon as he was allowed an opinion he asked that his second name Royce be used becasue Wilfred was an "old" and "unfashionable" name. On the death of his father, he immediately changed his first name to "William" - but he is still referred to and uses the name Royce or "Rocky".
