INTERNATIONAL LEGAL TROUBLE SHOOTER ON STANDBY & READY TO FLY ON MISSION!

It has been an honour to have served under Mr. Lane for encroaching 2 years, as the Pro Law Legal Officer assigned here at Kenya. In these two years, I have learned that ethics in our profession is No. 1, not legal nor billings, but Ethics, is what comes first. He is the most tenacious Legal Mind I have ever encountered and to the best of my knowledge he has delivered on all missions that have been assigned to him. 

With his former 15 years Police Service, then following graduation served as a Prosecutor, he in my view is the perfect fit, for Legal Trouble shooter Missions normally retained by Multinational Clients or whoever can afford him. From me, I have learned so much under this “never accepts retreat” Legal mind, the most tenacious man that has been an honour to serve under.

Royce Lane (better known as “Rocky”), portrayed by his actions as a Legal Legend comes with a number of true Stories. There is one in which a Book is presently in the making with a possible Cinema movie to follow. The story takes us back to the year 1996, when Rocky, on a trouble shooter assignment, took a case at a 3^rd World Country known for their high level of corruption. It related to a local organized Crime group which the Police and Local Lawyers did not want anything to do with this Case. It was a case where the group had taken all the money and property from a hard-working business family, who were made to sign at Gun Point. Long Story short, Rocky won the case at their Supreme Court who ordered the Registrar of Lands and Banks to reverse the Assets back to the Family. Again, another success story to his list of deliveries.

But on this mission, the wrongdoers who lost in court were sore losers. On 26 April 1996 Rocky was gunned down in a Public Street in broad daylight and received a Bullet in the head. Miraculously, Rocky survived and recovered from Hospital 10 days later and discovered that Local Police did nothing at all. So, he launched his own investigation, and 10 months later located the Gunman and the Two Crime bosses who issued the Contract order on Rocky’s life. He acted as Private Prosecutor jointly with the Public Prosecutor and they all got lengthy jail sentences.
